Danielle Lind-Corkill, Beca
Danielle Lind-Corkill brings over 25 years of diverse experience in engineering and project management across energy, manufacturing, and consulting sectors.
Beginning her career as an environmental and process engineer in consulting, Danielle transitioned to production support for the dairy industry before shifting to the petrochemical sector. Since 2006, she has undertaken various project delivery roles for central and local government, energy, and manufacturing operations. She is currently a Technical Director in Project Management at Beca, an engineering consultancy, where she oversees a range of projects in renewable energy, water, and commercial buildings.
Danielle's career has greatly benefitted from her strong client focus and exceptional communication skills. Her ability to manage project ambiguity and adapt to shifting business drivers has made her a highly effective leader in her field.
In addition to her project delivery leadership Danielle has a special interest in ensuring holistic approaches to engineering opportunities, especially the development of sustainable solutions for NZ Inc. Danielle is actively involved in the professional community, having presented an industrial perspective at Chemeca and volunteered for the Institution of Chemical Engineers, both on the NZ Board and the Learned Society Committee, addressing global actions on energy and climate change.
She will be presenting from her experiences with transitioning from conventional fuels and chemicals to those less traditional for chemical and process engineering.
